PeopleShare is currently hiring for a Packaging Operator in the Cranbury, Nj area. Ideal candidate must have prior experience as a packaging operator in the pharmaceutical industry and possess strong knowledge of good manufacturing practices(GMP)
Job Details for Packaging Operator:
- Schedule: Monday- Friday, 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm
- Temp to Hire
- Pay Range:$24 per hour
Responsibilities for Packaging Operator:
- Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machines to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical products according to specified quality and quantity standards.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper packaging and adherence to production specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct in-process checks to ensure packaged products meet quality standards for seal integrity, labeling, and overall appearance.
- Document all production and quality control activities accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to GMP and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of production batches, including machine settings, production quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Report any deviations or non-conformances to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements for Packaging Operator:
- Previous experience as a packaging operator in the pharmaceutical industry is required 3+ years
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and SOPs in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment 3+ years
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and effective communication
- Bulk packing or Blister packing NEEDED
