Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical plans and prepare submittals for key clients.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical work to meet quality standards.
- Test products like switchgear and breakers, and write reports.
- Work with Engineering to fix drawing issues.
- Update testing documents and run Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Keep job records in the Repair/Calibration database.
- Prepare service records and meet project deadlines.
- Lead the testing team, provide training, and keep the workspace clean.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and update documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Skilled in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing electrical equipment.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar; CET/CTech or Electrician/Journeyman license preferred.
- Experienced with low and medium voltage equipment and tools like high-pot testers, current injectors, and insulation meters.
- Strong analytical skills and schematic interpretation.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant software.
- Clear communication of technical findings to team members and stakeholders.
- Able to train, lead, and organize team members effectively.
