Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and design of electrical concepts, ensuring complete submittal packages for mission-critical clients.
- Perform detailed mechanical and electrical inspections to meet engineering and quality standards.
- Conduct testing of low and medium voltage products, including switchgear, breakers, and MCCs, and prepare technical test reports.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to address and resolve electrical drawing issues.
- Maintain and update testing documents, SOPs, and checklists, and perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Manage records on the Repair/Calibration database, including job entries and associated paperwork.
- Prepare service and failure records with precision and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Oversee testing team activities, provide training and mentorship, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and update documentation to reflect as-built conditions accurately.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical equipment testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Degree or equivalent training in Electrical Engineering Technologies; CET/CTech or Electrician’s/Journeyman license preferred.
- Proficiency in low and medium voltage equipment, high-pot test sets, current injectors, insulation resistance meters, and related tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical findings and issues to various stakeholders.
- Ability to train and lead team members, coupled with excellent organizational skills.
