Senior Bookkeeper Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm
- Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
- Contract to Hire
Senior Bookkeeper Job Description:
- Manage company's financial data and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Process payroll through Paycor
- Record transactions: Record daily financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales, and payments
- Maintain records: Keep financial records up-to-date and accurate, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts: Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank accounts
- Prepare reports: Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile: Reconcile financial reports and identify discrepancies
- Pay bills: Pay invoices and bills, and make tax payments
- Communicate: Communicate with clients and vendors, and work with accountants to ensure compliance
- Prepare tax returns: Help prepare tax returns, including payroll and other business taxes
Senior Bookkeeper Job Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years previous expereince in high level bookkeeping
- Experience working in or interest in science is helpful
- Must have experience working in SAP or Net Suite or Paycor
