PeopleShare is seeking a Direct Hire Project Accountant for a rapidly expanding client in Lawrenceville, NJ! Our client is a leading construction company and has been in business for over 100 years! The Project Accountant’s primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding client invoicing, payments, reports, and any other duties related to the project.
This is NOT remote, full-time in the office.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM
Salary: $75k-$85k/year, with full benefit package including Health, 401k, Dental, Vision- based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
- Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to the accounting department.
- Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
- Process vendor invoices accurately using commitments and within assigned timeline.
- Process subcontractor AIA G702/G703 invoices accurately and within assigned timeline.
- Collect and track compliance documents.
- Generate reports including Labor, Contract Status, and Job Cost.
- Create client contracts in Sage using Contract Module.
- Enter client invoices using Sage Billing Module.
- Job cost report modification.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate
- Minimum 2 years prior experience working for a General Contracting company.
- Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor payments using job cost subcontract and purchase orders.
- Proficient in AIA G702/G703 and Microsoft Office.
