PeopleShare is looking for a heavy equipment mechanic who is ready to put down the tools and transition to a technical support role! In this role you will provide over the phone diagnostics for customers that call in for service needs in a call center environment for a material handling supplier. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience maintaining heavy equipment and machinery.
Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: $24-$28/hour
Responsibilities:
•Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
•Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
•Troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical circuits and systems
•Program control boxes (ECU’s – electronic control units, etc.)
•Seize opportunities to upsell products, provide Spare Parts Numbers and Prices
•Provide Warranty assistance
•Run reports in ERP system RMA and parts shipping delays, etc.
Skills:
•Ability to read schematics (e.g., hydraulic, electric, and electronic) and exploded diagrams
•Technical knowledge (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, electronic)
•Computer skills – ability to navigate through ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and manage multiple software platforms on different monitors
•Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Experience:
•Technical degree in equipment support (maintenance on trucks or heavy construction equipment)
•Minimum 3 years of construction equipment experience (Hydraulics, Electrical schematics)
