About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. No prior machine operating experience is required; training is provided for the right candidate.
Pay: $18.00/hour + $1.00/hour weekly attendance bonus
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (must be available for all shifts)
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift Schedule
All employees are required to rotate between the following shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (unpaid lunch, approximately 52 weeks per year)
- 2nd Shift: 3:55 PM - 11:55 PM (paid lunch, approximately 50 weeks per year)
- 3rd Shift: 11:35 PM - 7:35 AM (paid lunch, scheduled approximately once per month)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay of $18.00/hour
- Additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus for employees with no missed hours during the workweek
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Upon permanent hire, pay increases to $19.00/hour
- Additional raises every 90 days with earning potential exceeding $21.00/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
- Follow production schedules and work instructions
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Record production information and maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Assist with material handling and general production duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a warm or dusty manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work all shift rotations
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Steel-toe or safety shoes required
- Safety glasses required
- Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check (county, state, and federal)
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen (urine or mouth swab)
