Program Lead (Part-Time)
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 3:30 PM - 7:00/8:00 PM
PeopleShare is hiring a Program Lead for a local recreation center!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily youth programs, recreational activities, and enrichment opportunities
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging activities that support youth development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to youth while promoting teamwork and respect
- Monitor program participation and ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently
- Assist with program setup, equipment organization, and facility maintenance
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff members
- Enforce program policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth, recreation programs, childcare, education, or related fields
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead groups and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
