Key Responsibilities
- Assist forklift operators with daily tasks and workflow.
- Safely operate forklifts while complying with all safety procedures.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Deliver raw materials to production equipment in a timely manner.
- Remove finished products from production lines and maintain organized inventory storage.
- Accurately complete inventory and equipment documentation.
- Support production goals by following schedules and recommending process improvements.
- Assist with shipping operations and provide backup support when needed.
- Prepare and submit production and operational reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with general labor and handwork projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and in a loud manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
