Forklift Operator Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate: $18-22/hr
Forklift Operator Description:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport equipment and materials around the facility.
- Clean, wash, and dry equipment attachments to remove dust, debris, and dirt.
- Review work orders to identify specific preparation requirements swapping parts, or replacing components as needed.
- Securely band pallets for shipping or storage.
- Efficiently prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Locate and pull attachments accurately using part numbers or item codes for reference.
- Complete paperwork accurately and thoroughly to maintain proper documentation.
- Retrieve small parts from the inventory as needed
- Assist with staging and organizing equipment for transport and storage.
- Efficiently pull machine orders and ensure they are ready for the next steps.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Forklift experience 2+ years
- Lifting up to 75lbs
- Using hand tools and power tools as needed
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
