Blending Specialist
We are seeking a dependable, team-oriented Blending Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour
- Night Shift Differential: +$1.00 per hour
- 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Position Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment, processes, and work practices.
- Meet production throughput and efficiency goals.
- Follow production schedules and work instructions.
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment to ensure reliable performance.
- Maintain quality standards and achieve established quality metrics.
- Ensure equipment cleanliness and plant sanitation standards are met.
- Complete all required records accurately and thoroughly.
- Support safety, quality, service, yield, and efficiency goals.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource within the assigned work area.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Communicate effectively across departments and shifts.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Assist team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Understanding of process flow and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of CIP (Clean-in-Place) and sanitary standards preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in cold, wet, and noisy environments.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing, food and beverage, or laboratory experience preferred.
- HACCP and/or SQF experience is a plus.
