Job Details for Packer/Quality Position:
- Schedule for Packer/Quality Position:
- Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate for Packer/Quality Position: 17.00 - $18.27hr
Job Responsibilities & Description for Packer/Quality Position:
- Visually inspect product aesthetics to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Read Work Orders and set up area with required packaging materials
- Record scrap data (scrap piece count and scrap reasons) and communicate to OPS team
- Recognize all profile quality defects and take appropriate action
- Accurately count & package finished goods in accordance with packaging guidelines
- Accurately document production data
- Observe safety and security procedures & reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Participate in continuous improvement projects/events
- Forklift operation
Job Requirements for Packer/Quality Position:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience
- Able to read digital calipers, dial calipers, and tape measures.
- Quality is a major focus in this role and requires being focused on identifying and preventing quality defects from making it to the customer.
