PeopleShare is hiring dependable Warehouse Associates for a growing 3PL distribution facility in Joliet, IL. This facility supports retail store operations by distributing store equipment, fixtures, parts, and supplies.
This is a long-term opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working in multiple areas of the warehouse and are open to cross-training and learning new skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders using RF scanners
- Perform quality control checks and verify order accuracy
- Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare shipments
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations
- Load, unload, and move inventory throughout the warehouse
- Operate electric pallet jacks (EPJ) and pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
- Support warehouse housekeeping by sweeping floors, removing trash, and keeping work areas clean
- Assist in multiple departments as business needs require
- Cross-train in warehouse functions, including material handling equipment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- RF scanner experience required
- Experience with order picking, quality control, and inventory handling preferred
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Experience operating pallet jacks and EPJs preferred
- Experience with PE3 or PE4 equipment is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable performing general labor duties as needed
- Steel-toe shoes required
