Assistant Machine Operator Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Thursday - 12 hour shifts
7:30 AM -7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Must be able to train Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM for 1 month

Assistant Machine Operator Job Description:
- Assist the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor with operating extrusion equipment
- Support machine setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers
- Load raw materials, including resins, additives, and colorants, into hoppers and feeders
- Monitor extrusion lines and report equipment or production issues
- Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure product quality
- Remove, package, and label finished products according to specifications
- Clean and prepare tooling and equipment during changeovers
- Assist operators and maintenance with minor troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Transport raw materials and finished products using pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S and safety standards
Assistant Machine Operator Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working around heat, noise, and moving machinery
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing stairs or ladders, and working at various heights
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
