Forklift Operator
Location: Avenel, NJ
Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: $21.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $21.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: $21.50/hour
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize products and materials throughout the facility while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and place them in designated storage locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Verify inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures.
- Ensure products are stored properly to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
