PeopleShare is hiring a reliable and safety-focused Transportation Driver to support a local youth organization in Virginia Beach. This role is responsible for safely transporting children and teens (ages 6-18) to and from programs, activities, and occasional field trips while helping create a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport youth to scheduled programs and activities
- Assist with transportation for special events and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation schedules
- Ensure passengers follow safety guidelines during transport
- Communicate professionally with staff and participants
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint screening
- Comfortable working with children and teens
- Dependable, professional, and safety-focused
