CNC Machinist Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and optimize CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision parts while meeting production goals and maintaining safety and quality standards.
CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual machines for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Monitor tooling, make adjustments, and troubleshoot machining issues
- Track production data including output, scrap, and downtime
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean initiatives
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
CNC Machinist Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain)
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools
- Technical school or machining certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
CNC Machinist Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion throughout shift
