PeopleShare is seeking a dependable and detail oriented batch maker to join a production team in Downingtown, PA. In this hands on manufacturing role, you will be responsible for weighing, mixing, and processing raw materials to produce high quality products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a production environment, follows procedures closely, and takes pride in safety and accuracy.
Batch Maker Job Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $19 to $22/hour, based on previous experience
Batch Maker Job Description:
• Mix and batch products according to established formulas and procedures
• Accurately weigh raw materials prior to batching
• Retrieve materials from warehouse and storage areas
• Operate mixing tanks, agitators, pumps, and valves
• Monitor gauges, temperatures, and mixing times during production
• Collect product samples for testing (color, viscosity, pH, solids)
• Transfer finished product into storage tanks, drums, or containers
• Complete production documentation and batch records
Batch Maker Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
• Manufacturing or batch‑making experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
