Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Design, implement, and continuously improve employee engagement strategies that strengthen morale, productivity, and retention across operations and field teams.
- Partner with leaders to identify drivers of turnover and develop targeted retention initiatives, onboarding improvements, career pathing, recognition programs, and employee feedback loops.
- Lead employee listening efforts (surveys, focus groups, stay interviews) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Serve as a trusted resource to employees and managers, promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Sourcing
- Own and improve employee sourcing strategies to support operations growth.
- Evaluate and implement modern sourcing tools, technologies, and partnerships to expand the candidate pipeline, improve efficiency of staff, and reduce time‑to‑fill.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, improve job descriptions, and strengthen interview and selection practices.
- Analyze hiring metrics (applicant flow, time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, retention by role/location) and recommend process improvements.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage core HR processes including onboarding, performance management support, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Drive competitive compensation and benefits administration partnering with leadership and vendors.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and reporting.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within an industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or field‑based environment.
- HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Hands‑on experience improving employee sourcing and hiring processes, including high‑volume or skilled labor recruiting with skills‑based hiring approaches.
- Working knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization.
