Manufacturing Machine Operator – Plastics (Injection Molding)
Location: North Wales, PA
Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 2‑2‑3 Rotation | 12‑Hour Shifts
Job Type: Full‑Time
We are hiring a Manufacturing Machine Operator – Plastics to support high‑volume plastic production in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on injection molding machine operation, automated production equipment, quality inspection, and packaging. Ideal for candidates with manufacturing, machine operator, or production experience.
Manufacturing Plastics Machine Operator Responsibilities
Operate plastic injection molding machines, automated assembly equipment, and auxiliary production machinery
Load raw materials, plastic resin, and packaging supplies to keep production running efficiently
Monitor molding cycles, adjust machine settings, and identify production issues
Perform routine cleaning, basic machine maintenance, and preventive care
Inspect finished plastic parts to ensure quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
Package finished products according to work instructions and quality standards
Complete production logs, quality documentation, and basic computer entries
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Support continuous improvement and meet daily production goals
Manufacturing Plastics Machine Operator Requirements
1+ year of machine operator, production operator, or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or automated equipment a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
Basic computer skills for production and quality data entry
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks during 12‑hour shifts
Comfortable working in a high‑volume manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
