Mechanical Assembly Technician
Hours: First Shift (6:00am–3:00pm, Mon–Fri)
Location: Telford, PA
Pay: $20
A manufacturing facility in Telford, PA is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly of custom‑built machines and fabricated metal components. This is a full‑time, first‑shift position with steady work in a clean, organized production environment.
Mechanical Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
Assemble custom machinery and components using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Perform basic fabrication tasks such as drilling, cutting, grinding, and fitting parts.
Operate shop equipment including drill press, shear, punch press, saws, and hand tools.
Inspect assembled parts for accuracy, defects, and proper alignment.
Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with mechanical adjustments.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
Support production goals and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Mechanical Assembly Technician Requirements:
At least 1 year of mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production environment.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic math and measurement skills; geometry knowledge preferred.
Sheet metal or machine shop experience a plus.
Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred, but not required.
