Machine Shop Operator
Location: Souderton, PA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift Available
Job Responsibilities for Machine Shop Operator
Operate a variety of machine shop equipment, including grinders, saws, presses, and CNC machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
Deburr, polish, and perform finishing work on metal components.
Monitor production quality and ensure parts meet specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Assist with machine setup and general production activities as needed.
Qualifications for Machine Shop Operator
Previous manufacturing, machining, or machine shop experience preferred.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand basic production documents and work instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
