Flavor Room Associate

Schedule:6am to 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $17-19/hr

The Flavor Room Associate is responsible for preparing flavored coffee by mixing liquid flavoring with roasted coffee beans using specialized tumbling equipment. This role supports daily production goals by ensuring consistent flavor quality, accurate measurements, and efficient staging of finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tumbling machine to mix flavoring with coffee beans according to established recipes and procedures.
- Measure and add flavoring to 20–25 lb bags of coffee beans, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Tumble each batch for the required time (typically around 5 minutes) to achieve proper coating.
- Lift, move, and stage multiple 20–25 lb bags throughout the shift.
- Perform basic math to calculate measurements and verify batch requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
- Assist with packing, labeling, and staging finished product as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of flavoring materials and equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 20–25 lb bags repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring ingredients.
- Basic math skills for calculating flavoring amounts and verifying batch sizes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
