Compensation: $21–$23 per hour (FSLA non‑exempt)
About the Role
A well‑established non profit organization in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient‑focused environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, care, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and break down operatories for patient treatment
Sterilize, inspect, and maintain instruments and equipment according to infection‑control standards
Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
Support administrative tasks such as emails and documentation
Uphold HIPAA and practice compliance standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and patient‑friendly environment
Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity working within compliance‑driven environments (e.g., HIPAA)
Comfortable performing administrative duties, including emails and scheduling
Ability to follow sterilization protocols accurately and consistently
Current CPR Certification (or Must Obtain Within 6 Months of Hire)
