Our client is seeking a Web Content Editor for a 6 month contract role.
This will be a hybrid position that will require 1-2 days in office per week at their location in King of Prussia, Pa

Pay Range: Up to $25 / hour
Position Summary
The Content Editor supports the development, review, and maintenance of content for our company website. This role ensures that online information is accurate, accessible, clear, and written in plain language for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and publish website content while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Review content submitted by departments for grammar, style, readability, and compliance
- Apply plain-language principles to make government information easy to understand
- Ensure content meets WCAG accessibility standards (e.g., headings, alt text, link text)
- Follow established content guidelines, style guides, and approval workflows
- Collaborate with staff, communications team, and web developers
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience editing and/or maintaining web content in a CMS
- Basic Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Drupal
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) and comfort working in web-based systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
