Mixer Operator Job Description
The Mixer Operator is responsible for accurately mixing ingredients according to production formulas while maintaining food safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product consistency and meeting daily production goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating industrial mixing equipment and batching systems
Weighing, measuring, and staging ingredients per work orders
Following recipes, formulas, and production schedules
Monitoring mix times, temperatures, and product consistency
Completing production and batch documentation accurately
Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
Cleaning and sanitizing mixers and work areas between batches
Following all food safety, GMP, and safety procedures
Mixer Operator Job Requirements
Previous experience in food/beverage production, mixing, or manufacturing preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
