Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a newly created leadership role responsible for building and executing a scalable, enterprise level talent acquisition strategy. This position is designed to elevate recruiting from a reactive function to a strategic business partner as the organization continues to grow organically and through acquisition.
This role manages a team of recruiters and partners closely with senior leaders across the organization to support hiring across production, technical, corporate, and leadership roles. There is a clear growth path for this role as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth.
- Design scalable sourcing and pipeline programs to reduce dependency on agencies while maintaining a balanced approach.
- Partner with senior leaders to understand workforce planning needs and translate them into effective hiring strategies.
- Support hiring up through Director level roles.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals.
- Align recruiters to specific business units or functions to strengthen partnership and outcomes.
- Create differentiated sourcing strategies for production, operations, and multiple technician skill sets including electrical, mechanical, and electronic.
- Oversee ATS adoption, reporting, and optimization.
- Standardize interview processes, hiring workflows, and interview guides.
- Own employer branding initiatives including Glassdoor presence and candidate experience.
- Centralize and manage agency relationships and external recruiting vendors.
Qualifications
- Five to seven or more years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience.
- Proven people leadership experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or production driven environments.
- Strong understanding of technical and operational recruiting.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders with professionalism and executive presence.
Work Environment
- This is a primarily in office role with flexibility for life needs. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with business leaders.
