CNC Machinist Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday -Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
- Job Type: Full-Time
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including tooling, fixturing, and entering machine offsets.
- Load CNC programs and perform first‑piece inspections to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Interpret G‑code/M‑code and make basic program edits to maintain accuracy and productivity.
- Run production jobs independently and hand off stable processes to CNC Operators when appropriate.
- Work with castings and precision components while following all safety and machining best practices.
- Support daily machining and production needs to keep operations running smoothly.
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop or production environment.
- Strong proficiency in CNC setup, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plan machining strategies.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for inspections.
- Solid understanding of G & M codes with the ability to modify programs as needed.
- Ability to meet physical demands: standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing required PPE.
