Operations Coordinator
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
- Training: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Post-training: 3 shifts per week (13 hours each), nights & weekends required (rotating schedule)
Position Overview
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for accurate coordination of case management for assistance requests. This includes conducting research, providing assistance, and documenting case notes in accordance with quality and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to travel-related inquiries and provide support for Assist America’s services
- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency requests; act as first point of contact for clients
- Document all case information using Case Management Software (CMS)
- Perform data entry, maintain files, and provide liaison services to members and providers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client experience
- Participate in meetings and share insights to strengthen operations
- Research provider information and assist colleagues as needed
- Monitor Operations Center equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Customer Service or Assistance industry (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- bilingual candidates a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Time management and organizational skills
- Travel-minded with cultural awareness
- Ability to work shifts, holidays, and mandated overtime
