Injection Mold Technician Job Details:
Location: Batavia, IL
Pay: $22.10–$25.50/hr
Schedule: Full-time | 6 days/week | 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Injection Mold Technician Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection and blow molding machines, molds, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding quality, safety, and productivity
- Coordinate with labor leadership to ensure full machine and labor utilization
- Recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance
- Report machine malfunctions and assist with minor maintenance and job setups
- Train and guide material handlers assigned to presses
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Injection Mold Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in pneumatics, hydraulics, or plastics preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in injection or blow molding processes
- Knowledge of process control, mechanical principles, and power/hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills and ability to enter data into Windows™-based programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active manufacturing environment
