Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Details:
Location: Batavia, IL
Pay: $28.00–$35.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time | 6 days/week | 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Equipment Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on injection and blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist with machine setups and ensure proper functioning of molds and fixtures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding equipment status and repair needs
- Recommend improvements to equipment performance and reliability
Equipment Maintenance Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety procedures
- Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active manufacturing environment
