Assistant Center Director Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible availability between 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour

Assistant Center Director Job Description:
Center Administration & Management
- Support the Center Director in managing daily operations and compliance with DHS, FELS, Keystone Stars, and NAEYC standards.
- Handle payroll, invoices, petty cash, and injury reports.
- Assist with enrollment, fundraising, parent activities, and community outreach.
- Maintain safety, security, and resource organization.
Staff Supervision
- Onboard and train new staff; supervise classroom teams through observations and coaching.
- Mentor teachers on Creative Curriculum and lesson planning.
- Coordinate schedules, training, and substitute coverage.
- Support performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Program Oversight
- Ensure high-quality childcare aligned with regulations and organizational philosophy.
- Monitor classrooms, health and safety standards, and ITERS/ECERS compliance.
- Assist with special events, trips, and parent communication.
- Participate in meetings and represent the center when needed.
Assistant Center Director Job Requirements:
Education
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related human services field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of program and center management experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Strong knowledge of child development and group dynamics for ages 6 weeks–11 years.
- Proven supervisory and administrative experience.
