Job Description:
The Fresh Cut Processor is responsible for efficiently preparing and packaging fresh-cut vegetables and other food products for next-day delivery while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to meet daily production goals and ensure product quality.
Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-done (typically 3pm-6pm)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Location: Warrendale, PA
Key Responsibilities:
Process fresh-cut produce according to daily orders entered in the system.
Operate cutting and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area at the beginning and throughout the shift.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and freshness standards.
Create and apply accurate product labels for shipping.
Package and prepare items for shipment according to company procedures.
Follow all safety rules, food handling guidelines, and company policies.
Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Basic math skills for order processing and labeling.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
