Job Details for Mailroom Clerk:
- Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
- $19-$21/hr. based on experience
- Benefits after 30 days!
Job Responsibilities for Mailroom Clerk:
- Performs routine indexing procedures for Claims and Underwriting scanned mail and all electronic emails
- Perform document preparation, scanning and imaging audit duties
- Assemble policy/billing documents and prepare for shipment
- Distribute daily mail and deliveries from courier; collect interoffice mail
- Prepare certified and other special mailings and maintain proof of receipt
- Maintain and operate mailroom equipment, and warehouse file management
- Monitor funding for the postage meter account, submitting disbursements of funds
- Notary Public - Certified Underwriting Policies and various company notary duties
Job Qualifications for Mailroom Clerk:
- High School Diploma required; Notary Public preferred
- Proficient operations of modern mailroom equipment; business-based computer processing systems along with Microsoft Office Productivity Applications
- Must possess a positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
- High-quality clerical, organization, and time management skills
- Experience in mailroom services and/or Insurance Industry a plus
- Background check, education verification and credit check required
