Location: Romeoville, IL
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Join a well-established food production company in Romeoville that specializes in creating and packaging high-quality baking and kitchen products distributed nationwide. We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to support production operations and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay, steady hours, and room to grow!
Shift & Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Some overtime may be required)
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs of conveyor systems and warehouse equipment
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work (e.g., lighting, minor leaks, equipment adjustments)
Support safety checks and ensure compliance with facility standards
Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and spare parts inventory
Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and equipment testing
Help maintain warehouse cleanliness and overall functionality
Requirements:
Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
Reliable, organized, and able to work well with others
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
