Mechanical Assembler Job Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday; 1st and 2nd Shifts available (Required OT)
- Pay Rate: $18.50 – $21/hour
- Contract-to-Hire opportunity
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of subassemblies and finished products to meet production standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Perform quality checks, operating tests, and functional inspections
- Use hand tools, arbor presses, and other equipment to assemble and adjust components
- Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and 5S standards
- Assist with training and mentoring less experienced employees
Mechanical Assembler Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years of manufacturing assembly experience
- Ability to read/understand blueprints and shop drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and basic shop math
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
