Installation/Service Technician Job Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM (on-call and occasional weekends)
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
- Direct Hire opportunity
Installation/Service Technician Responsibilities
- Install and service parking access control, vehicle entry systems, and building access control systems
- Work with equipment including parking gates, ticket dispensers, license plate recognition cameras, facility management software, slide and swing gate operators, card readers, and telephone entry systems
- Integrate systems into existing networks and troubleshoot electronic relay systems
- Provide operator-level training and support to customers
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues on-site and via remote access software
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Installation/Service Technician Requirements
- 2–5 years of low-voltage wiring, installation, and equipment diagnostic experience
- Strong mechanical, PC, and Windows skills; experience with software installation and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of network architecture, LAN/WAN fundamentals, and best practices
- Experience working outdoors or on construction sites
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- DCJS registration preferred
