Loan Officer Job Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM
- Pay Rate: $18–$22/hour
- Direct Hire opportunity
Loan Officer Responsibilities
- Assist members with consumer loan applications, ensuring accurate completion and compliance with lending policies
- Evaluate creditworthiness by analyzing financial information, credit reports, and loan applications
- Provide recommendations on loan approvals, terms, and conditions
- Maintain knowledge of lending products, services, policies, and procedures to support customers effectively
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding members through the loan process
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely loan processing and funding
Loan Officer Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in consumer lending, banking, or financial services strongly preferred
- Knowledge of credit analysis and lending regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan processing software
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to accuracy and compliance
