Monday through Thursday 4pm to 230am (Must have some flexibility to train on 1st shift)

The Role: Finishing Operator (2nd Shift)
We’re looking for Finishing Operators to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you’ll run rewind and finishing equipment to inspect, cut, and package labels to meet exact customer specifications. You’ll also support press operators to ensure smooth production and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Set up rewind and finishing equipment based on order requirements
- Inspect products, check specifications, and ensure customer standards are met
- Maintain correct core tags, splicing, and rewind positions for each job
- Work with quality teams to confirm accuracy before packing for shipment
- Package finished products according to customer specifications
- Complete production and quality reports as needed
- Flag and communicate any issues to operators or supervisors
- Collaborate with the team to stay on schedule and uphold quality checks
- Follow all safety guidelines and help keep the work area clean
- Be available for overtime when required
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing or printing is helpful, but not required
- A strong eye for detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Basic mechanical understanding and problem-solving ability
- Good organization skills and comfort working in a fast-paced setting
- Team player attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and order details
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Regular lifting or moving of up to 40 lbs
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing
- Vision needs include close, distance, and color recognition, plus depth perception
- Work takes place near moving machinery and requires protective gear such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses when handling inks or cleaning
