Staff Accountant Needed in the Pottstown Area!
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Pay up to $80K (depending on experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Finance department. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records. and assisting in the month-end closing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General ledger account reconciliation and Preparation of journal entries
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Review Bank Reconciliations and Accruals
Maintain and reconcile prepaid accounts
Assist in Month End closing process
Participate in audits and provide support to auditors
Provide support to A/R and AP accounting clerks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be proficient in Excel, have strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
SAGE-a strong PLUS
EDUCATION Accounting degree, training, or equivalent job experience.
EXPERIENCE Five to Ten years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience with Accounting Software and Excel.
