Up to $65k for a Purchasing Role:
Job Description:
Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers.
Issue purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery.
Analyze market trends and vendor performance to optimize procurement decisions.
Work closely with internal departments (e.g., production, inventory, finance) to determine purchasing needs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock without over-ordering.
Resolve any supply issues or vendor disputes quickly and efficiently.
Assist in developing procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with experience in material planning and purchasing
- Experience with an ERP system
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
