Job Title: Office Support Specialist
Salary Range: $20 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, flexible
Duration: 4 month contract-to-hire
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry & Office Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurate data input, maintaining Excel-based tracking systems, and supporting basic purchasing tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable handling administrative functions in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, generate reports, and assist with spreadsheet-based analysis
- Assist with low-level purchasing, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with vendors
- Maintain and organize digital and physical files as needed
- Support other administrative functions, such as scheduling, filing, and preparing documents
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to follow up on orders or data discrepancies
- Assist with inventory management and supply reorders
Requirements:
- Previous electronics background
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting)
- Prior experience in a data entry, administrative, or office support role preferred
- Familiarity with purchasing or procurement tasks is a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions:
- Office-based position
- Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
- Occasional lifting of office supplies (up to 25 lbs) may be required
