Medical Assistant Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate: $25-$30/HR based on experience
Medical Assistant Job Description:
- Communicates effectively with team members to coordinate delivery of high quality patient care and allowing the staff to all be on the same page
- Develops a knowledge of skin care products, services, and injectables to educate patients and be able to increase sales/revenue
- Instruct patients on post-procedural care
- Assists MD with surgery consults, office procedures, injections, surgery patient follow ups
- Sets up OR for surgeries by ensuring all appropriate equipment for each case is clean and easily assessable
- Ensures all supplies and instruments are sterile and available at all times
- Immediately after each case assist the scrub tech in decontaminating and reprocessing all instruments according to approved guidelines and manufacturers’ instructions
- Assisting the scrub tech in ensuring the OR gets cleaned to the highest standard between cases and terminally cleaned at the end of each surgery day.
Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
- Certification as Medical Assistant preferred
- Aesthetic background a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates tact and sensitivity when communicating with patients
- Able to deal with difficult, demanding patients
