Elk Grove Plant is looking for a Warehouse Operator for 2nd shift. Temp to hire. The schedule is from 2:30pm to 10:30pm. Monday to Friday. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour
The forklift operator will be working on:
- Docks:
- Loading onto trailers with a forklift, walkie-rider, or hand-jack as the task requires to use.
- Picking orders from all 3 Warehouse zones – Dry Warehouse, Cooler, and Freezer.
- Unloading from trailers with a forklift, walkie-rider, or hand-jack as the task requires to use.
- Putting away into all 3 Warehouse zones - Dry Warehouse, Cooler, and Freezer.
- Housekeeping in all 3 Warehouse zones during and before closing of the shift.
- Sorting of tomato paste crates.
- Sorting of GMA pallets
- Supplying the line:
- Bringing materials to the line and staging in their zones. This will entitle to pick from the Dry Warehouse, Cooler, Freezer, and a drop trailer.
- Putting away the Finished Goods into a bin location in the freezer.
- Computer data entry:
- Searching items.
- Reclassing items to staging area and between bin locations.
- Printing picklists.
- Much more as time goes by.
The above is the simple details of the what the person will be doing. We should have an SOP for “Warehouse Operator 1” somewhere. Please let me know if you have any question.
