Who are we looking for? Candidates must have previous Medical Billing/Medical Biller experience following up with insurance companies on denied claims. This position requires Home Health billing experience as well.
Job Title: Home Health Medical Billing Specialist
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Flexible start time of 8, 8:30, 9 after training!
Pay Rate: $18-24/hr - based on years of experience
Responsibilities:
- Contact insurance companies to resolve unpaid balances on home health accounts
- Inform management of issues with accounts that require client intervention
- Assist with the resolution of credit balances in a timely manner
- Obtain information from insurance companies to foster claim adjudication
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience with home health medical billing procedures and terminologies (at least 1 year of experience)
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Epic experience a plus
- Detail oriented, strong problem solving, and research skills
- Ability to meet productivity goals
