Set up and operate Mazak CNC Lathes, machining a variety of materials including stainless steels, nickel alloys, plastics, and more.
Manufacture components within the allotted time estimates provided on the job travelers.
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, tooling, and programs.
Program, set up, and operate Mazak Multi-axis Turning Centers with minimal supervision.
Perform 1st piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications and tight tolerances (as close as 0.0005”).
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area, and follow preventative maintenance procedures.
Work effectively with team members, assisting and training others as necessary.
Operate forklifts and handle materials safely, including products up to 4 tons.
Perform duties in accordance with company policies, including safety practices and attendance standards.
Be available to work overtime when required to meet customer demands.
