Job Details for Machine Operators:
- Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate: $22hr
Key Responsibilities for Machine Operators:
- Operate & Monitor Equipment:
- Run a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary in-line equipment.
- Perform on-time quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Make the necessary adjustments or perform minor repairs to optimize production.
- Assist maintenance personnel with mechanical repairs and perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic processing on injection and blow molding machines to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Production Support:
- Assist with mold, insert, and color changes on the production line.
- Monitor HDPE/PET resin, dryer, material handling, and color systems for optimal processing conditions.
- Operate equipment to minimize regrind, purge, and scrap generation.
- Team Collaboration & Safety:
- Communicate effectively with the Production Shift Supervisor and team members.
- Assist in training new operators and help other utility positions as needed.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and quality (GMP) policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications for Machine Operator:
- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of safety, health, and quality (GMP) practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mechanical ability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
- Reliable with regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
