Job Details for Maintenance Technician:
- Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Pay Rate: $30.38 - $38.44/hour
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various manufacturing equipment, including systems with motors, motor controls, and advanced automation components.
- Basic knowledge of industrial computerized controls, variable speed drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), level sensors, limit switches, pressure switches, proximity sensors, and photo-electric sensors.
- Perform weekly lubrication of machinery and ancillary equipment to maintain efficient operations.
- Metal fabrication and welding expertise preferred for equipment and structural repairs.
- Disassemble and reassemble pumps, replace valve packing, and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
- Replace and align motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, and pulleys efficiently.
- Serve as the primary on-duty line maintenance operator, responding to line calls, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a detailed maintenance call log.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
- Proven welding skills (MIG/TIG preferred).
- Electrical experience, including wiring, troubleshooting, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial computerized controls and mechanical systems.
- Metal fabrication capabilities, including the use of grinders, welders, and cutters.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward equipment maintenance.
