Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm
- Pay rate: $16 per hour
- Temp to Hire position
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines and related equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine performance and promptly report any technical issues to supervisors.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on sewing machines, such as thread adjustments and minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure safety and productivity.
- Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines for project completion.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient production workflow.
- Adapt to new machinery, techniques, and processes as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating sewing machines in a production or textile environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
