Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20-24/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and payer details for patients, including handling primary and secondary insurance, pre-approvals, and co-payment information.
- Submit and follow up on claims, ensuring timely payments from insurance companies and resolving any issues with denied claims.
- Manage self-pay patient accounts, prepare statements, and coordinate with external collection agencies when necessary.
- Answer patient billing questions via phone and in person, providing clear and professional support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 Years of Medical Billing experience
- Proficient in phone reception and email communication.
- Familiarity with Outlook and medical billing software
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and be open to feedback.
